Now that we have well & truly stepped up our endeavours for complete home-entertainment, close on the heels of the new television comes another addition to our gadget-family – the Samsung P365 DVD Player. The P 365 is a new model from Samsung, which features a progresive scan and support for 5.1 channel sound.
With Samsung's DVD player DVD-P365, experience intense sound and vivid images with greater intensity. Samsung's DVD players feature state-of-the-art 14-bit video DAC (digital-to-analog converter) and video processing running at 108 MHz. The 14-bit DAC produces up to 16384 color values, as opposed to 1024 with 10-bit processing, providing extended dynamic contrast and detail with natural and smooth gradation between highlights and shadows. With the high-speed 108 MHz video processing, it boosts image resolution as close to the original DVD source as possible, allowing you to enjoy more life-like pictures. Compact and innovative, the Samsung DVD-P365 is designed to blend stylishly with the décor of any room. The slimness allows it to fit in almost any location. The sophisticated, sleek exterior design envelops the smart technologies incorporated inside.
Now that we have both a Television and a DVD player at our disposal, not to mention a PC too, our li'l room can be called an entertainment hub of sorts! Oh yeah, we also have a 2.1 channel surround system! Few things missing are a coupla hot-shot DVD's and a few dozen MP3's. But no worries…..their stock shall soon be replenished with just a li'l trip to our hometown, where we have loads of both
. The past few days have gone away with us being stuck to the Television and/or the PC but this weekend, we shall be viewing some hi-def movies on the DVD. I've already started scouring the neighbourhood for DVD rental libraries and shall hit pay-dirt pretty soon! Hopefully, I shall find one that charges reasonable rates, otherwise we'll end up paying a bomb for Cinema Paradiso's membership
P.S: The We/Us in this post refers to me & my roommate. If you're curios to know more about him, head over to his blog
