Manchester United Retain their EPL Champions Title

Man Utd Champions

Manchester United retained the Barclay’s Premier League Title with a 2-0 victory over Wigan Atheletic whilst their closest rivals Chelsea succumbed to a 1-1 draw at home to Bolton Wanderers. The results mean that United win the Premiership on the basis of points and not merely by goal difference. The Red Devils finish on 87 points whereas the Blues are on 85 points. The title success came in identical fashion to last year’s success – Man U winning and Chelsea drawing – but whereas last year’s triumph was sealed with two matches left to be played, this year’s success was sealed on the last match of the season! Hats off to United!!!

I didn’t get to see either match because of the non-telecast of ESPN/Star Sports by my Cable Op  but I caught up with the commentary on the BBC Sport website and also the audio commentary over at BBC Five Live! But the icing on the cake is yet to come. Manchester United and Chelsea will be contesting the Champions League Final in ten days time in Moscow and that one is on Ten Sports (which I do get :P ). Hope Man U win that one too and complete a glorious double! Go Man U Go! Boo Chelsea Boo!!!

I think that Manchester United I proved time and time again they are a good side despite the difficult start they have had they came back full Credit to Sir Alex Ferguson and the lads they did really well and the Backroom Staff did an ace Job.

I know that this years European final will be ace Chelsea are a really Good Side with talented players but we will have the upper edge beacuse of Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Nani n Giggs

  3. Yeah. Though Chelsea players are saying that they would be more keyed-up for the final than Man U, I believe the Red Devils have the necessary firepower to go for a win!
