My last Blog post about the European Grand Prix has been blatantly stolen, ripped-off, copy-pasted at two other places! Those #$%#^#&$*’s copied my post word-to-word onto their self-hosted blogs and as a result, a Google Search for the term “Massa wins as Kimi’s Engine Blows” leads to their blogs instead of mine! I, who had painstakingly penned that post am not getting even a trackback for it
Fie, you spammers/post-stealers/copy-pasters/non-crediters!!! Note the “Creative Commons” license on the sidebar??? I bet you didn’t

Perhaps he believes that “Copyright is the right to copy”

now the search shows only one other post apart from your post… and at least your post is the top result…
plagiarism sucks

@Liju: The Morons
@Kunal: Nope. Both of them copied posts are there! My post now shows up but in 2nd place

Welcome to the world of plagiarism! Happened with me dozens of times.
You can’t even do crap with the “copyright” or “trademark” tag. Microsoft with all its lawyers can’t catch those who use pirated copies of their software.
What that spammer has done is piggy-back on your post contents to promote his spam farm. Technically, you cant even sue him because he’s within his “right” to do so. Googlebot looks at both your posts and decides to place him higher in the list (for whatever reason!).
Check out this URL – Matt Cutts put it on his blog
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/duplicate-content-question/
You can email him with any specific questions, he’s Google’s official point of contact for SEO and (I think) one of the guys who is involved with googlebot.

Tx Loney!
I’ll let it be for now. As it is the post is now buried down
If it were a more popular post, I’d have taken some “action”
