The ‘Object of Desire’ is Finally becoming a Reality!

I’m finally acquiring my much-vaunted Object of Desire. Readers will remember me ranting about not one, but three different object of desirewell, thanks to Mr. B, who’s in the US of A now, the dream is going to become a reality! I’ve ordered the HP DV 6426US model of Notebook Computer from online retailer CircuitCity and it will be delivered soon. I shall be getting to lay my hands on it only in the first week of October though! Coz that’s when my friend will be coming over to India.

DV6426US

I’d mentioned the HP DV6500t in my earlier post but the one which I’m getting now is its cousin, the HP DV6426US which almost has the same features as the 6500 but costs a bit less. Moreover, the 6500t was a customizable model whilst the 6426 is a ready-to-ship model so no add-ons or changes allowed. Still, its a good enough configuration. The detailed specs are mentioned after the jump. Also, the reason for getting it from CircuitCity was because the HP Shopping site wouldn’t accept International Credit Cards! I found that really hard to believe…given today’s age of e-commerce and online shopping being so popular! Anyways, I’ve got (or will be getting soon) a pretty good enough notebook and hence there should be no reasons to gripe about! *becomes cheery self again*
